    Tomd,

I do believe you have the dreaded "you can't keep food from me" furry little gray  bird. (I'm not very creative with names)

What a cute little guy!  I like my squirrels, but I only get a couple and one of them is a little red squirrel barley bigger than a chipmunk.  Alot of the people around here have a big problem with the squirrels eating all of the bird food and damaging the feeders.

Welcome to Whatbird!  Hope you enjoy it!

Raptor is very close - it's definitely the destructive Dastardly Rodebird, closely related to the Common Grackle.

If you don't want Dastardly Rodebirds or Gray Squirrel birds at your feeders, move them away from any branch or other structure. Squirrel bafflers sometimes work, but keep this feeder less than 5 feet away from a window, so birds aren't going fast enough to seriously injure themselves if they fly off the feeder and into your window.

Can't really tell what kind of bird this is, but I saw one like it the other day at the birdbath.

Ah, the Amercian Fuzzy-tailed Seed eater. Very common throughout the year and does not migrate.

I hate to say this, but I like squirrels, they are kind of cute ( I know, pesky rodents!)

These must be a very common species as they are wide spread here in Connecticut as well

Don't ever believe that caged feeders will stop the Dastardly Rodebird (rat bird - also commonly referred to as tree rat).
