    Thrasher ??? and nest

    I saw this thrasher yesterday. Can you ID what type. Seen in Southwestern New Mexico.

    Curve-billed Thrasher... aptly named, too!! Good photos!!

    Thanks Bird Brain. I didn't even know there were eggs in the nest until I got home and checked the pictures on the computer. I had to hold the camera above my head over the cactus and shoot downwards to get the picture. Good thing the camera is autofocus. These cactus hurt like heck when you get stabbed by them.
