Like all my posts from today.... This bird was seen in the forest of Kent, CT. To me, it's face looks like a Northern Flicker.... but the research I've done didn't show juveniles looking like this.
Anyone know what it is?? I probably have seen them a bunch of times (hope not!) and just can't recognize it.
