Some type of sparrow?

    I can't find a sparrow these birds match.  The closest I found was Veery (sp?) which isn't a sparrow.  I'm in central IL and these birds love the horse turnout area.

    I can't really tell from the picture, but the overall impression I got was that they're female house sparrows...

    I agree with female house sparrow.
