Are you kidding? Is that really a Swamp Sparrow?
I'm not being wise, I seriously had no idea. And if so, I've never seen one before or since.
I checked it out in the field guide and the drawing, location (Winter in North Carolina) and habitat (boggy marsh) seem right.
It's always great when you can add a new bird to your list without leaving the house.
