Need help identifying the bird in this gallery:

These pics were taken at sunset, so the color cannot be trusted. My first impression was Northern Mockingbird. I always identify a mocking bird by its gray color, its many calls and/or those bold white bars in its wings and tail that flash when it flies.
Can't trust the color due to warm sunset lighting. Bird didn't sing while I was there. Never saw it fly.
What's a birder to do? I know. I'll ask WhatBird regulars for help.
