Ccccold n Fluffy Great Horned Owl

I ventured into a new WA for me today and spooked this guy who was perched near me. Luckily he flew across the marsh to perch on an open branch facing me. Out of 10 shots, this one was the best of the group (dissappointing quality to me) but the overall appearance of him is worthy of offering. 32 degrees and the wind was blowing briskly 20+ and just began to flurry so I guess he puffed up his parka.

What a great find!  You say that you spooked him...I think he would have spooked me!  He's huge!
