This bird came to my feeder this morning in New Bern, NC (coastal plain). It is about 6-6 1/2" long, very marked black and white stripes covering the entire front body, white eye stripe, black eye, rust blotch on neck, black beak. I searched my books and the closest I could come was Savannah sparrow but that bird is too small to fit. I will try to upload a photo.
