I have no idea what bird this is. It is very small (about chickadee size). It's beak is curved slightly at the end. It's tail is upright. It has the markings like a brown thrust, but it's much smaller I believe than they are. He was very curious and loved the camera. It hopped around a lot on my porch, discovering the bird feeders and the sunflower seeds. It even hung vertically on the chair leg.
any help identifying this bird would be awesome. I've had people suggest house wren, carolina wren, brown thrust. I live in NC and this was taken on a very very hot day in August. I have other pictures in my gallery of this bird - this one and 3 others. It might help I guess
