I just thought you might like to see this. We live in western New York State near Rochester and are visited about three times a day by nine Turkeys. They make the same trip back and forth to our back yard almost every day. They meander in, scratch around, nibble at stuff, take a nap, scratch around some more, and the stroll back the way they came.
On a recent visit, one of our Shelties barked at them through the window and spooked them. They scattered and headed into the trees. Now that was funny.
One is a particularly inquisitive fellow and hopped up on the railing of the deck to check out the feeders. He sure looked like he was contemplating his next move.
