There are at least two of them which have been feeding only on the ground below the bird feeder (never on the feeder) for about a month in Charleston, WV. They look alike. The closest to the birds I can find appears to be the Savannah sparrow, and some references refer to variations of this as having white above the eye rather than yellow, but no pictures I have found look anything like the birds I see.
