I would like to set up a feeder to feed fruit to birds like the orioles and tanagers. Can anyone tell me a good design to achieve this without also feeding animals like the raccoons? What sort of feeder should I use or can anyone tell me where I can find plans to build one? Also, what fruit would be good to use and when would be the best time to put the fruit out? Thanks for any help.
