I did not notice the "Don King" Hair style but will try to get a closer look at it next time. I also listened on-line to the sound of a belted kingfisher and that is the sound that it is making. It has a blue head, white ring around it's neck and a gray body. It fly's in a straight path and low to the water. I believe that I have seen it diving after fish as well. It is about the size of a crow maybe slightly bigger. I am located in Central NY near Syracuse. It screeches when it fly's.&lt;/STRONG&gt; It has been around all summer long.&lt;/P&gt;
