Binoculars with Camera are junk. If you need to take photos through your binoculars use a compact camera up to the lens of the Binoculars. It does take some practice.

My husband bought me a pair once too(this has been several years ago) and hopefully they have since improved because I was disappointed in them too. I still use them as binoculars though. I was expecting the pictures to be the size that I saw through the binos but they weren't but, like you said, maybe they've improved. It is a great idea.

I got a pair for a present once, but they were so hard to use and the resolution so low that they now reside in the bottom of some drawer....they may have improved of course, but I would certainly recommend that you try before you buy.

The reason why it's so much cheaper than a digital camera is because it's only 3.2 megapixels -- most digital cameras are now in the 8-10 megapixel range.

I checked out that web site.

The Bushnell Image View 10x25 Binoculars w/VGA Outdoor image view SD Slot $77.95 sounds to good to be true. It also had one review that was positive. But I was wondering if anyone in the group had one. I sure think this would be the best of both worlds. I have a hard time trying to manage binoculars and my camera. A lot of weight.

Thanks. I didnt realize they made such a thing. Some of the choices look to be cheaper than a regular digital camera. I'll def be checking these combos out!
