With its face all messed up like that it's hard to tell, but with the red shoulder and white outer tail feather it has me thinking vesper sparrow. Are those in flagstaff during breeding?  The auricular pattern seems to fit (sort of), but the lack of eye ring seems odd.

The two hallmarks of a Vesper Sparrow are its prominent eye ring and white outer tail featrhers, neither of which this bird shows, so I'm thinking Lincoln's Sparrow here.

I was considering lincoln, particularly in the last shot, but it was in fact the white outer tail feather in the first shot that confused me, although it only appears on the left side.  But you're right, without the eye ring, lincoln is a better fit.
