    Bald Eagles in Southern CA

Do any of you in So. California (or anyone else, if you are knowledgeable about this area) know the best places to find Bald Eagles?  I would guess that places with large bodies of water would be best, since they eat fish....any ideas?

Try Big Bear Lake or Arrowhead. Its high elevation and much cooler than down in the basin. You can also find them in the High Sierra's, but, thats about 6 hours north of your location. I have seen golden eagles in the Cajon Pass area near the Sierra Hwy exit of the 15 freeway.

Great - thanks.  I actually thought about Big Bear/Arrowhead so I'll definitely check it out!
