    Couple of Hawks in Missouri

    Here is a couple shots of the first one to identify

    First one maybe a Red Shoulder?

     

    Red Shoulder Hawk maybe 1 Red Shoulder Hawk 2?

     

    Second Hawk! Maybe a Coopers Hawk?

    They both look like juvenile Cooper's or Sharp-Shinned Hawks.  I would say Cooper's.

    I'm not good with hawks, but I also live in Missouri, and I have been noticing a juvenile cooper near my house, so they're definately around. I got within ten feet of three juvenile turkey vultures last weekend too. Amazing. There were about 20 adults flying around. I thought about playing dead to see if they'd try to eat me but decided against it. :)

    I'm not good with hawks, but I also live in Missouri, and I have been noticing a juvenile cooper near my house, so they're definately around.
