    Does DSLRs have GPS

I read something, somewhere that made me think that some DSLR camras record where the pic was taken, like it has a GPS in it.  True or False?

Sure, most of the camera companies (Fuji, Nikon, and Canon I know for sure) have upper-level dSLRs with GPS capabilities.  It tags your photos with latitude and longitude for later reference.

By the way, some cameras have WiFi and/or Bluetooth built-in, so you don't have to break out the USB cable or pop out the memory card -- just upload them over a wireless network.  There are some cameras with WiFi AND GPS as well.

Ok, so does my Canon EOS Rebel T1i have that ability? is it "upper-level"?  It sure felt like it was when I wrote that check for it.

Your Canon Rebel is certainly a step up over point and shoot, but its more like the Camaro and the Corvette, it shares some of the Corvettes goodies, but the best is left for the 'Vette.

Carrying the car analogy a bit farther, some also have it available as an "aftermarket" option.  The Nikon GP-1 unit is an example.
