mj3151, I think you could be quite right. I didn't know which way to go with the ID because this one seemed small for a Caspian. I wasn't very confident in my ID to start with. I am changing it to Caspian.
My compliments to mj3151 for the question and cairnstone for starting the thread. In all of these postings I hope that all of us are looking critically at the birds to ensure that the poster has the right bird. My skills are just in the beginning stages and needs a lot of help. Knowing that the experienced folks out there are looking over our shoulder is exactly what drives my postings and why I read all these threads. Way to go. I would celebrate someone finding an error in one of my pictures as it makes for a learning experience.
