    vultures

Does anyone know how old a kill has to be before a vulture will sit down to dinner?

    Re: vultures

Vultures will land and take part in dinner before the beast is dead.  Their very effective noses help them find rotting food, but they will eat anybody... smelly or not.

If the beast is alive they will eat the eyes first to hasten the process and make the beast less likely to flee.

they will eat newborn calves before the calves are able to walk.  they used to (or still do) cause problems for cattle farmers in fla and tx
