Can anyone ID these ducks in flight?

    Attachment: 1101A.JPG
Taken yesterday in Newport Beach, CA.  At same location were Buffleheads, Lesser and Greater Scaups, and some other species that I know don't have white on wings so I'm not listing those.  Can anyone tell what these are?

The most telltale feature is the white patch on the leading edge of the wing, best seen on the central bird in the lower group. I think these are American Wigeons.

Man, now that you say that snowy, I can't NOT see American Wigeons. Dunno what I ever saw in them before!

After I posted this, I was looking at my Sibley's guide, and I also thought American Wigeons made the most sense.  Thanks Kryptos and Snowy!
