I've been inundated with emails on every post recently, and have not been able to turn them off, despite following directions and checking "no" on every enable email choice. 

 This is the last resort, so could a moderator please find a way to get my email address off the list to receive emails to the forum about bird identification  from this site?

my only thought is - on the "site options ", and "email " tab, make sure you hit "save changes" on each page as you are done with them...i can send you screenshot of my page , if you like,... it works for me, and if you make your like mine, and still get unwanted emails,  then it must be something out of the ordinary. let me know if i can help.

Thanks for the reply - all options for email are turned off, and I don't find anywhere to do more.

 How does one contact the administrator?  Or unsubscribe?  I never thought when I signed up to ask to identify one bird, that I was getting in so deep.

At the bottom of the page there is a "help" link, when you click on that there is an email link.

Hi...Sorry I can't help you with the email issue. I just wanted to comment on your Western Bluebird photo, nice shot! I looked at your   gallery  "Appleton", the name  peaked my curiosity, I live near a very small community  by that name.  L55D :)

Appleton, Washington?  These birds have raised young in a nest box near my apple trees for years, and my fruit doesn't get wormy.  They always pay a late season visit to tour the orchard and look the nest box over, at least a dozen at a time, before leaving for the Winter.

Diane, when I changed my settings there wasn't an immediate change.  It took a few days.  All I can say is just delete them until that change is run through the system. It will happen but how long I can't say.  May be it will be faster since you ask about it on the post

Yes, WOW! , what a small world, I live in Goldendale now but lived in Glenwood for  16 years!!!  There  were a lot of Bluebirds here this year, more than I've ever seen. Hope  you got the email problem fixed!!  Take care! L55D

click on the group heading example this group "General Site Suggestions" navigate to the bottom of the page click on more options there you will find an email option click on the drop down select never and then click the apply button the emails will stop if you are getting any emails from any of the groups click on the heading and follow the instructions at the bottom of the page as outlined above.
