This is a beautiful bird. Seems to have a pointed bill, lots of beige color. Two dark brown stripes around the throat. It cries all day and night. Flies but is mostly on the ground hopping. Have seen it for the last several years here in Bensenville, IL and when she has chicks following her every spring she is even more vocal ( didn't think that was possible).
