Here is how to upload a photo to the public gallery. Your photo will appear in the large gallery called Upload Your Photos. This is not your custom gallery, how to make your own gallery and add photos to it is covered in another document.
Go to the Photo Gallery.
You'll see a collection of Galleries
Click on the Gallery called Upload Your Photos
At the very bottom of the Album List click on the link Add Picture
You will get a new page with a dialog box called New Photo.
Click the Add button.
A small popup window will appear.
Click the Browse button then navigate to the photo on your hard disk. When you have found it click the Open button. The filename part will appear in the Popup window.
Enter text for the field called Friendly Name/Description
Click the Upload button
You will be back in the New Photo dialog box.
You can add a more detailed description of the bird in the Description field, like where you saw the bird, more details about it.
Click on the Preview tab to see how your photo will appear in the Gallery.
If you are happy click the Save button at the bottom of the New Photo dialog.
Now to be able to give people the link to your photo click the Return to Site at the top right of the screen.
Click again on the Photos menu.
Scroll to the Upload your Photos gallery.
Your photo should be the first one.
Click on it and you will get a page with the full size photo
Copy the link from your browser address bar and paste that link into the message you post requesting help.
Your done.
