    Help with ID please

I took this photo yesterday morning in my yard.  I live in south central Minnesota in the woods along the river valley.  This bird (or one like it) was here last spring too, but didn't stick around long.  This bird seems to be traveling solo..........I sat and watched all afternoon and only observed this particular one going from tree to tree, then to the ground to feed on seed (knocked out of the feeder by the squirrels!!)

If you can help me identify this beauty, thank you so much.

Yep, an indigo bunting -- such beautiful birds.  White-throated sparrow in the foreground, too..  looks like my yard!

Lucky...... Indigos are gorgeous.  I prefer them to Painted Buntings.

    Re: Help with ID please

Thank you all for the information.  I checked on this website prior to posting and I thought it might be an idigo bunting but in the photo they have listed for the idingo, it looks like a dark colored beak whereas this one in my yard has a very pale colored beak........but maybe the photo for identifying on here is just a bit distorted.  Thanks again everybody!

GOOD EYE, IndianaBirdLover............didn't think anybody would spot the White-throated sparrow, but you did!!!!
