    Identify birds in Northwest Arkansas

Small bird, size of a wren. Blue (not gray) with brown wings and brown on tail. No white markings. Comes to feed on the ground by itself. Is this a Ind Bunting?

Second bird is the size of a brown headed cowbird.  There are two pairs that come but will be gone by June. The bird is mostly white with black spots over body (not necessary on the head or wings), and has a red patch on the breast. The beak is color and shope like a grosebeak. I thought this might be a Towee. Not sure.

First one sounds like a blue grosbeak.  The second is definitely a rose-breasted grosbeak.

More likely a first-year male (mottled blue and brown) indigo bunting.

Good point -- I was just thinking of a blue bird with brown wings.  Thanks for pointing out the size difference.  I agree with snowyowl -- could be a first-year indigo.
