Yes, the pages are coming up much quicker! I look forward to more people coming around and perhaps a birding community growing.  Unless this is strictly a place for identifying birds?  I have been confused (after reading the individual forums' synopsis)  as to where is the correct place to share my love of birds, my daily sightings, photos, general birding observations.  Please let me know if this board is strictly for helping others identify birds and not for general chat about birds.  Thank you.

This web site and forum is not just for identifying birds, its for anything you are interested in sharing. It has recevied some fame for the identification angle, especially with our unique search engine (have you tried it?) and with David Lukas, our resident expert.

We have the Backyard Birds, Feeders, and Food forum for some general posting about birding, but I see your point that there is no obvious forum for sharing sightings and general birding observations. I could easily create one. How about if I called it

Share Your Sightings and Observations

Perhaps you have a better title idea?

As far as photos we have the Photo Gallery where you can create your own gallery of photos and then share the links to your photos when you post a message.
