can you help id this bird?

Taken in marshy area in NorthCentral PA

Checked a couple of books and I am having trouble identifying him/her? Probably a common bird but black hilites are confusing.

Looks like a Song Sparrow.

My thought is Song Sparrow based on size, what appears to be the streaking on the breast, and markings on the head. However, I can't tell in the picture if that is black along the crown, or brown. I'll be interested to see what folks think.
