Hi there. I'm Melanie.
I live in New Jersey and enjoy attracting birds and other wildlife to my backyard. Besides the standard finches, wrens, mocking birds, chickadees, cardinals, blue jays, mourning doves, crows, starlings, and grackles, we have a pair of resident red-tailed hawks, a pair of catbirds, and the occasional turkey vulture.
We have a pond in the backyard - just 14 by 20 feet with some goldfish - and surprised a mallard duck back there one morning.
