    Re: Ring-necked Pheasant

I almost didn't bring this up on here because ya'll are gonna think I'm crazy but...I think I've seen a ring-necked pheasant hen in my backyard.  I've seen it a couple of times first thing in the morning underneath my feeders.  I thought at first it was a domestic turkey hen (My brother has some) but it was really too small for that.  I was unable to get a still picture because it is very skittish but I do have a video.  As soon as I figure out how to send it to you I will.  But in the meantime, is it possible for a pheasant to have made it's way down to SE /Arkansas?

Its possible to get ring-necked pheasants in your area. They are often bred and released for hunting, Maybe it was released or somehow escaped into your yard.

Yes, I'm come to the same conclusion, Andy Lee.  I just hope it's not all alone out there
