    Re: White-eyed Vireo

This is a good candidate for a re-draw.  Overall mantle/back, wing and head colors are too dark.  Edging of primaries and rectrices should get attention as their typically olive/yellow/white showing.  Wing bars can be black with white tips.

Position/shape of head and neck appears untypical and/or uncharacteristic --> treatment of the nape could use a bit more love both in shape and color.

Something isn't right about the face; I think it's caused by eye size and placement in relation to the flow of the bill.   Bill shading doesn't reflect a characteristic look of the white-eyed vireo-- often you see a lighter gray toward the tip where the mandibles meet.

Leg color is a viable/useful fieldmark; they should show blue-gray.

    Thanks for reading.
