Looks closest to Savannah Sparrow but white eyeline

Smile Please look at 2 pictures on http://pages.suddenlink.net/scifigeek/ (or the two pictures have been uploaded to the photo gallery under the title of "Maybe Savannah sparrow..." and send message to scifigeek@suddenlink.net and/or post reply to this message in this forumto confirmwhat this bird is.  There are at least two of them which have been feeding only on the ground below the bird feeder (never on the feeder) for about a month in Charleston, WV.  They look alike.  The closest to the birds I can find appears to be the Savannah sparrow, and some references refer to variations of this as having white above the eye rather than yellow, but no pictures I have found look anything like the birds I see.

I think your birds are Song Sparrows.

Thanks, folks.  I appreciate the help.  Once you told me it was the song sparrow, I typed that into google, and I indeed found several pictures which looked like mine, but the pictures of the song sparrow and the description on the whatbird bird finder and on 2 other sites did not look anything like what we saw.

It would have been easier for you if you could have had a frontal view to id these birds.
