Go to ebird.org (not sure if you have to create a free account) -- View and Explore Data -- Maps. Type in Orchard Oriole and continue. When it gives you some Data, hit the change location button, select Maryland, Entire Region.

You get maps of sightings, plus data (frequency, abundance, etc) which suggest when to start looking!

I will consider myself blessed then. I will see these guys maybe once a year in my unsprayed apple tree. (Poor tree does not look good. But the birds use it 12 months out of the year) I believe they only show up in unsprayed trees. If I am wrong, someone correct me.

I also have the Baltimore Oriole show up yearly.
