Woodpecker & small birds on feeder

    Attachment: P1050163a.jpg

This was taken on 1-19-09 just outside Atlanta.  Too new to be guessing at the ID here, but would like to know them.  Including the one on the pole.  I miss seeing those sometimes when I am used to looking at the feeder.  Thanks, Jim

I see three Pine Siskins, an American Goldfinch, and a Red-bellied Woodpecker.

That is without a doubt a northern flicker

As I stated, I am new at this, but I really thought that was a red-bellied like the other poster claimed.

    Comments from others please.

Sorry, but it's not a flicker. Not the barred back, the lack of spots, the plain chest (no black oval), the red that extends to the bill, and even the seldom-visable reddish wash on the belly all point toward red bellied and away from flicker. I agree with the 3 siskins and the goldfinch as well.

That's a red-bellied too.  A female.  On a male, the red extends all the way to the forehead.
