    Terns to ID??

    Attachment: terns1.jpg

If I could get a confirmation on these beauties it would be appreciated. They are both Life birds for me. There was a driving wind with buckets of rain but I said what the heck I will drive out by the lake...lol I will take em anyway I can get em.

These were at Mosquito State Park in N.E. Ohio. Thanks a bunch, Bill

    Re: Terns to ID??

The two little guys on the left look like Forster's Terns, judging from the white wing tips, black-tipped orange beaks and red-orange feet. The two big ones appear to be Caspian Terns, judging from the size, solid red beaks, and inland location that you wouldn't expect to see a Royal Tern which is about the only other thing that resembles them. I'd wait for more opinions though.

I agree with both Caspian and Forster's Terns.
