    As with the Turkey Vulture, shouldn't this be listed taxanomically with the Storks as opposed to right before the Hawks, Kites, and Eagles?

    New World Vultures (Catgartudae) are in there own family. Storkes are in the family Ciconidae).

    I see - but aren't Cathartidae more closely related to Ciconiidae than to Accipitridae?
