This, and my other Redpoll photos, were taken near a salt-marsh that was about 150-200 yards away from the shore of Long Island Sound in Connecticut.
This male was one of 15-20 birds that were feeding in an area with several feeders...... the Redpolls, like other finches, were all over the Thistle 'sock' feeders.
