Hi Mom2eight:   I think that is a Rose-breasted Grosbeak.  My guidebook says they like fruit and to use orange halves to attract them.  

You're lucky!  We don't get those on the west coast where I am.

Does anyone know what kind of song it sings?  I am wondering if this is the one that ends its song with a whistle sound.

I'm just getting into this birding thing and its very enjoyable!  Even my 4 year-old can identify birds!
