absolututely  stunning pleased to see the EXIF info there Chris I just have to ask I notice you travel around alot are these birds you shot are in the wild  or are they in captivity. The reason I am asking is I have recently given alot of thought of to trying to find an avairy here in CT to get some images that I wouldn't otherwise get.

Again this is stunning   Regards Peter

I used to think that we in New Zealand had some awsome birds I sure had my eyes opened up here in the US you have some truely awsome colored birds here. Sadly alot of the New Zealand birds have been lost for ever. Some are on there way back I was reading the other day that they found a few breeding pairs of Kiwi's in the Kiamai ranges that is a bush area that was approx  5 miles from where he had the farm when I was growing up.

Thanks, Peter

Nearly all my photos are of wild birds. After my recent trip to Arizona I decided to include a handful of captive birds from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Any photos of captive birds will always say so clearly in the title. Most of my photos are taken in National Wildlife Refuges or State Parks.
