About The Birds Between The Fields
Here in the farmlands of east central Illinois I have very unique opportunity to see many birds, from pheasants, to owls, and (as my name suggest Rough-Legged Hawks). The reason this is the best place for birding is, it is right smack in the middle of many migration paths from Canada. I also have a small creek (big enough to have fish) pass by my land, therefore I am blessed with having blue herons flying 3 inches from my face every summer (true story).
But to sum it all up I think I have the best bird area, and birds are the only reason you should vacation here.
