I, for one, am fascinated by the New Zealand species.
There are some varied bird life in NZ but I am also ashamed to say that we have lost some species for ever not only did we have the largest bird (the Moa) we also had the largest eagle (Haast Eagle) it could carry a man off it hunted the Moa so no Moa so it died out too
