I have 10 pictures of hummingbirds and can't identify a single one. I don't know how plentiful these are in you yard, but in mine it took a lot of effort. Nice picture.

I think that is a female Ruby Throated Hummingbird. I know out west there are many more varieties - but here in the east (of the Mississippi) we only get the Ruby Throated.
Yes it is a Ruby Throated hummingbird I beleive that is all we get here in CT as well
