Unexpected Vistor

The kids and I were going out through the garage. When I opened the door, this fellow flew in from the garage. I'm almost certain it's a Downy Woodpecker. Sorry about the blurry image - my husband wanted him OUT and wasn't giving me much time to snap shots.

Spring is in the air. While my son was grabbing the camera to take a picture of these two, the male was feeding the female. It was so sweet. Looked like they were kissing. When Kyle returned with the camera, the male appeared to be checking out the female's..um, assets. lol

I'm not so sure this is a Tri-colored Blackbird.

Bluebird?

Is this a plain old bluebird? If so, what is it doing in my tree in the middle of winter? This was taken Jan 21, 2007. He had friends, lots of them. I counted 8 bluebirds resting in my maple tree.

My 14 year old son took the picture!
