Saw this near where I work (at an open pit mine ) and I know the photo is not the best but all I could get. The tail was dark edged and then white to the rump on top and looked mostly white with some pattern of black. It looked to have a good wing span.
I also heard some hawk attacked a Canada goose and that this goose fell into ...

You know there are Redwing blackbirds around here and this one looked kind of dark and well didn't really occur to me to check on the blackbirds.

There are lots of White Crowned Sparrows but this one seems to be the only odd one around.
