Thank you Raptor. 2 years of drought here seems really reduced the interesting birds wandering into my backyard. Fun to see something new again.

Maybe this is some common grackle or starling, I don't know but the sun caught the plumage and I was mesmerized by the color. There was a flock of them before I got my camera. Ground and feeder. What are they?

Thanks everyone. I enjoyed learning about juvenile hummers. I'll keep an eye out for this fella this evening when they start battling over the feeders again.

I saw this hummer that caught my attention enough to grab the binoculars......when it turned just so I was surprised by a small red splotch on the white breast.
