Thanks- Maybe, but the wings seemed to be gray-what about black-bellied plover. I will definitley look at dunlin again

The birds were wading in mud at Wellfleet Bay Audubon sanctuary in Cape cod. They had gray patterned wings, underparts with a large black spot. Light colored head. The black extended faintly higher on some individuals. Thanks.
