Greylag with two mallard types.

American Tree Sparrow, Kryptos was spot on. Notice the rufous crown and looks like the breast spot is visible as well.

I honestly believe there is something to the thought that the birds might be intoxicated. There is a bull moose in Anchorage that eats off a certain crab apple late in the season each year and has been observed to be intoxicated from the over-ripe apples.

Lower left is definitely White-crowned Sparrow, can't see enough of the top right.

Looks like it might be a Swamp Sparrow but I am not familiar with the species.

I'm on the Pintail camp. That is the primary bird in this area (literally 10's of thousands).

White speculum with black tail helps you identify these as Gadwall.

That speculum gives them away as does bill color.
