I didnt have grape so I put Rasp. jam out and nothings come after it yet - well except the ants of course. I havent even checked if orioles come around here but I would think some bird would like it. I figure another couple of days and see what happens.

Now that I've noticed these birds they seem to be everywhere Which is OK with me I love watching them. They really do get close to me when Im in the garden or sitting outside. I actually saw one chase a woodpecker from a suet feeder yest. which I thought was interesting. I havent gotten them to take to any fruit yet but Ill keep trying.

I actually found strawberry netting at Walmart, of all places, the other day - in their garden center. Hopefully we will put it up soon. We've kept our shade down on the window for the last 2 years - which stopped the birds from flying into the window - it will be nice to get some sunshine in the room again.

Im having trouble getting a pic of a new type of bird in the yard. According to the search it may be some type of a Thrush (Bicknell, Hermit, Gray cheeked). It seems I need to get a good look at the eye ring and beek color.
I thought they may be a female indigo bunting but they have the dotted chest like the thrush variety. There are a bunch of ...
