These four shots of are of the MacGillivray's Warbler seen in Boston this last week. As Ryan reported previously this is only the 14th such sighting in MA. My Peterson Field Guide for Warblers (1997) had noted only 4 at that time. Beautiful bird and fun to watch.

This has been a perfect example for me of how awesome this site is. Last week I saw a post from Ryan about the MacGillivray's and then got the details and directions. With these confirmations I now have 4 new birds for my Life List and am as my wife said, am becoming a Bird Nerd!! I am loving it.

Taken in the ''Fens'' area of downtown Boston 11/19 in the am. Went looking for the MacGillivray's, found it and a number of others as well. Several of these are sparrows but need some help on the ID. I also think I have a orange-crowned and possibly a hermit thrush as well.. Looking for some ID's and confirmations.
