Excleent idea but it wasn't a GC Kinglet - that I am certain of.
My gut tells me it was the RC and it is just a bit late leaving.

This is a spot known for all types of sparrows, and I've seen a Lincoln here before. This is the only other shot I have and it doesn't add much.

Curlybird's gaining some ID confidence! Next time just go for it and post what you think. My rule is I have to be wrong at least 3 times in a row before I hesitate to take a shot.

This is probably just a Herring Gull, but it's so sinister looking I'd thought I'd be sure. Seen in Dixbury Mass today.

Seen in Halifax, MA today. Probably a Song but the eyeline looks too beige. Sorry for the blurriness!
For anyone who is interested I finally got a couple new species today; they're not anything spectacular but I'm glad to have a little luck after a long dry spell.. Whohoo!

Mourning Doves are amazingly fast flyers as was mentioned. I can't think of a Passerine that impresses me more with pure speed when it zips over a field.

There is a suet feed there it's hanging on the tree but thanks for the suggestion.
Oh, yeah - it's right there and I missed it. No wonder I haven't found a new bird in a month!
